# Syntax

## Removes security.

```
DELETE /v{version}/users/{userId}/watchlists/{watchlistId}/securities
```

### Description

This API endpoint enables you to remove a security from an existing watchlist by providing the security’s ticker symbol, currency, and the exchange on which it’s listed.

### Parameters
